If the rider didnt merge so much with the back ground an was a bit sharper then that would have some POD potential.

you are right, light writing is done with long exposures and torches (probably a LED for this). I similar thing could be done in photoshop but would be hefty effort and wouldnt look as good.

It was taken in May 2007, the jump got really sketch a couple of weeks after.

If it was shot a bit lower you could have got some rim lighting on his head, just a thought. Still a cool photo tho.

I feel the tree is a bit awkwardly placed in the picture. If it was differently framed then yes but I wouldnt say this one is POD worthy.

Skawt not that I have tried or can remember seeing but I reckon you could hdr a shot like that. Because the water is so blurred it might work, reduce ghosting affects might also be needed.
Or just take a raw, simples. Plus hdr can be used not only to give that classic weird affect but instead increase the realistic look of a shoot. I wouldnt be surprised if there was some subtle tone mapping done. |

Crazy integration of brake, lever and pop lock for the fork. Bet it works so much better than cable options.

Dont really like it tbh, doesnt stand out as a good photo. would probs be better in portrait. you wouldnt loss too much ground with fallen leaves but get more tree so it might show autumn a bit better. just my 2 cents tho.
And Jezzah is meaning about the contrast on the rider. But its just his kit being soooooo white and naturally contrasting with everything else. |

Totally, its no bigger than the big road gap at Falkland just the landing looks a bit flatter.

Lucky, this is a 5 door, the 3 door models look so much better.
Dan, I suggested a Golf GTI but she wasn't as enthusiastic as I was lol. Harris, dont know what the fuel consumptions like on cars over in your land but this is about average, getting roughly 36mpg. Still bloody expensive with petrol being about £1.03 a litre!!!! |
